Some companies start with an idea, ours started with a life-changing moment.

Several years ago, I responded to two pediatric burn 911 calls less than twelve hours apart. These calls haunted me and for many years after grappled with the realization that nothing out there existed to protect our children from something as simple as cooking dinner. Years later, our own daughter suffered severe second-degree burns on her back after a container of boiling water tipped over on her. In an instant, an ordinary evening became every parent’s nightmare. The pain, the hospital visits, the fear, and the realization that something so common could be so dangerous, changed our family forever.

Wracked with parental guilt over a situation we could not control, we kept asking ourselves the same question, "What could we have done to prevent this from happening to her? What can we do to help this from happening to others?"

As a firefighter, our founder has seen burn injuries far too many times before. He has responded to kitchen accidents involving children, grease fires, and boiling liquids; tragedies that often happened in seconds and left lifelong scars. But it wasn’t until it happened inside his own home that the mission became personal.

We knew there had to be a better way.

So we set out to redesign cookware from the ground up with one goal in mind: helping prevent stove-top tipping accidents before they happen.

What began as sketches at the kitchen table turned into years of research, testing, and engineering. We worked to create cookware designed for greater stability, safer handling, and more confidence in the busiest room of the home.

Because safety should never be an afterthought.

Today, our mission is bigger than just cookware. We exist to help families cook with greater peace of mind, especially families with young children running through the kitchen, curious hands reaching upward, and parents trying to do it all at once.

Every product we make is inspired by the belief that one small design improvement can change a life.

We cannot erase what happened to our daughter, but we can dedicate ourselves to helping protect other families from experiencing the same pain.

We believe the products people use every day should evolve to make their lives safer.

Just as seat belts transformed automobiles and child-resistant caps became standard on medicine bottles, we believe cookware should no longer rely solely on gravity to remain secure.

Our mission is to redefine cookware safety through thoughtful engineering and practical innovation, helping protect families one meal at a time.
